AI Of Human-Kind

AI... of Human-kind!

Several years ago, you may remember a publication describing our growing dependency upon machines, devices, and AI. On several occasions, I've attempted to bring awareness to this phenomenon of artificial intelligence's skills in generating or re-creating itself... over and over again. What once was a'science-fiction' narrative has been brought to bear, in living colour, a scientific fact.

The guide, Device Machine Dependent, has clarified descriptions and instances where robots or robotics have been made to emulate the actions, abilities, and appearance(s) of mankind... Human-Like"; The Image of Its' Creator!

How many times have you been on your vehicle and engaged in a shouting match or argumentative interaction with your'GPS' or onboard interface? Aw, c'mon now... haven't you got mad and yelled in the apparatus once the voice supporting it gives you screwed up or incorrect instructions? Sure you've got.

Selene Yeager, a leading author, talked of a doctoral student at Stanford University, who specialises in Human-Technology-Interaction.

"We (people ) get confused and mad because we don't understand what the'GPS' is"thinking," David Miller states.

This writer (yours truly), however, is and was guilty of that particular sort of behavior. I am able to remember keying in a direction (when that was not satisfactory, I tried to engage the voice command option), the only real thing told me; directed me to shoot a highway and depart... I followed suit. When I realised that the instructions at which completely wrong - the accursed voice set us on"The Highway To Hell!"

We traveled sixty miles out and away from our projected"Pocono Mountain" destination.

Well, I am here to tell you, I momentarily (Oh, just like so many) became insane and began screaming at the voice inside the'GPS system' Miller went on to state, later on, as soon as your GPS provides you instructions, it may give you a justification, so that you will have a far better two-way relationship.

I am happy when and when the thing gets me into my unknown destination(s)... through the right route! I don't mean to be to difficult on the device... it's a fairly good little tool once it functions as expected.

"A Bit Of The Apple" addressed the'IT' community on big issues regarding Apple's stance on"covert and proprietary clinics" from the world of technology; hardware and applications - particularly its hardware products. Apple's'IT' decision manufacturers espouses an ergonomic defect that reveals a taste, They have said"Apple-like" form over function, i.e., the iMAC connectors on the back of their machines are designed and/or determined by rectal retention.

It's a point on a curve where the curvature changes from convex to concave or vice-versa. It can also be called a"Flex Point" or"Point of Inflection." Apple management says its proprietary devices are putting more impact into business user advertising. Apples' devices are making their way into the venture arena as'IT' managers, not consumers, such as them.

The'end-user' report highlights the fact, indicating the merchandise (s) being as good and excellent on simplicity of use, design, and dependability. Does anyone recall the definition of communicating?

A lot people have PC's in our houses now. And there are many others who believe that they are, and believe they're a step forward while utilising home-robots like Alexa or even IBM'S Watson and a myriad of cloned devices that clean, track, and coordinate their daily lives or lifestyles.

Where is your mobile phone?

It was the desk-top computer that has been the fundamental'Internet' connection. Subsequently it had been the'Laptop.' The"Tablet" has been popular these days, but the"Smart-Phone" outshines them all. All one has to do is simply look around... Look and see how many men and women are walking, riding, running, driving, and flying... dependent upon those continually unrelinquishing apparatus to keep them in their existence, and their very lives on this planet.

Not long ago, a vicious computer virus wrestled control from some 400,00 computers across over 160 countries in one of the worst global cyber attacks and computer infections.

The virus blocked all access to files, programs, mainframes, and networks unless the computer owner(s) paid a ransom. The elicit-able funds could only be paid via" Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is online money that's all but impossible to trace. The Bitcoin money is traded for the purchase of a"ransom key." Many times, victims have paid the cash only to not get the key to unlock their computers (or even ) systems, losing their money and their data.

This episode should serve as a major wake-up call for users with the much encouraged"must-do" process (s) on PCs and Internet devices in their own maintenance or use and the prevention of viruses, botnets, web-crawlers, malware, worms, etc.. )

I certainly agree with the author, Doug Shadel, in suggesting that users/owners regularly backup your important files to an external drive or remote storage support; possess a pop-up blocker running on your web browser at all times; instantly leave sites you have been routed to with no consent; use a respectable antivirus program - keeping it updated at all times; ensure that your software (and anti-virus applications ) is up so far; don't click on links or open attachments from email addresses that you don't understand; and purchase only legitimate software - and register it.

Do you recall the scene in the movie"Star Wars," where the bar-tender cries at'Luke Skywalker' to get his droids out of his establishment?

Many businesses are using sentiment analysis to gauge the mood(s) on social networks or the web... but gaining insight takes new strategies and skills," said Doug Henschen of'Techweb.'

It takes new tactics and skill-sets so as to obtain a position in the new world of IT, BI, Communications, and Analytics." No one can deny the massive and major changes that have happened in the'New World Economy' of the century. What's going to happen in the centuries to come - would we be"Star-Trek-Like?" How about a world and future like that of"Logan's Run?" Will robots become the newest judges, attorneys, congressional appointees, senatorspresident or president? Those people who are aware, interested, and/or motivated in or toward the continuation of humanity's predominate over machines, must become the master of either side of IT/BI.

AI: Artificial Intelligence... is compared to the organic (Human/Animal-like) intellect... that the capability of a robot or computer doing what is normally or commonly performed by people or creatures - with intelligence or intelligent skills... the capability to think.

How long will it be before people (man-kind) are entirely out-thought by AI - becoming completely and utterly our replacements as opposed to becoming our once-upon-a-time servants?

How Long? Not Extended! Now, does not this debate make you wonder... AI... of all Human-kind?
